Below is the what your review projects will be graded on. Please take this rubric, as well as my comments on your rough draft, into consideration as you make the final touches on your project. Rough Draft/10 points

• Recieved by 3 p.m. on April 8th (-5 if late)


• Outlines general structure of presentation

Content/50 points

• Effectively traces the growth/change of the theme over time


• Is not limited to simply answering the review questions, but is a thorough explanation of how the particular theme changes


• At least one generalization about the theme is presented


• Presents accurate history (there are no mistakes)

Vocabulary/15 points

• Fifteen words are appropriate to the theme


• The words are accurately defined and clearly indicated

Presentation/25 points

• There are 10-15 images, video clips, songs, or quotes that relate to and enliven the presentation


• There is some creativity in the way the material is presented


• It is easy to follow or read the presentation


• It is clear that group members have made an effort on the assignment


• Has no typos or grammatical errors

Citation/10 points

• Quotes and images are appropriately attributed to their authors


• A list of works cited in proper MLA format is included or turned in separately


• The names of the authors of the assignment are clear!
